Metric Performance

Financial Metrics: There are many financial metrics that businesses use routinely. They are the heart and sole of a business measured performance. These are mainly internal, backward looking metrics in that they tell us how a business did following a reporting period.

Marketing Metrics: Most marketing metrics are primarily external performance metrics, many of which are forward-looking performance metrics. Marketing metrics such as customer satisfaction can be measured during a performance period. Meaningful changes in customer satisfaction have been shown to a leading indicator of future sales and profits.
